Cat owners... do they ever cause problems with your figures?

My son's cat used to chew the fingers off his loose figures. Funny thing was, she never did that to mine.

I love my cats, but they wreak havoc on my room.

knock wood, my cats never bother the figures. I'm scared to death to think what Bug my puppy is gonna try and do since he can go up and down stairs now

While she never gets on my shelves, although she could if she wanted to, that are 4-6 feet off the ground, she does tend to knock down my 1:6 gun display and the figures on and around my TV and the ones ontop my DVD player as well.

She probably likes to go behind your TV because it's warm there, and it's a small space. Our cats try to squeeze themselves into every tight spot they can, and they have to be repeatedly removed from computer monitors, TV sets, and anything else that gets even slightly warm when it's on.

They're not allowed into my room, though, which is where all of my figures are. My cat Minion (R.I.P) started the "no cats in the bedroom" rule when she used my CD rack as a ladder one day and sent the whole thing crashing to the floor. Countless CD cases were busted, and a bunch of the CDs got scratched by her frantic scrambling to get out of the mess she'd created.

Yeah, she is a heat freak.

But she gives herself away when she tries to get out from behind my TV because she makes a godawful sound of claws scratching against wall.

While I can't catch her before she gets behind, unless she knocks something off and I hear it, I always know when she's been behind there. [img]wink.gif[/img]

chewed the occasional sword, knife, hand etc..
off my son's figures, but never off mine.
They must feel they can get away with it as far as our kids are concerned, but know adults
don't appreciate it a bit [img]wink.gif[/img]
